Cagamas Berhad organised the Inaugural Investor Forum 2025

Cagamas Berhad ("Cagamas" or "the Company"), successfully hosted its Inaugural Investor Forum 2025, themed "Honouring Partnerships, Driving Growth", on 3 September 2025 at Hilton Kuala Lumpur. The event brought together the Company's valued investors, regulators and stakeholders to share updates and insights into Cagamas' performance, strategic direction, and ESG initiatives.

The event commenced with welcome remarks by the President/ Chief Executive Officer, Encik Kameel Abdul Halim, who set the tone for the day by reaffirming Cagamas' role as a key liquidity provider and a trusted choice for fixed income investor community. This was followed by presentations from Mr. Delvin Chong, Chief Treasury & Investment Officer and Ms. Yusniza Wan Yahya, Chief Strategy Officer who provided updates on Cagamas' performance and new initiatives moving forward.

One of the highlights of the forum was an engaging panel discussion titled "The Future of Capital Markets: Unlocking Bond Tokenisation in Malaysia", moderated by Mr. Gopiraj Jegathisan, Head of ESG & Strategic Management at Cagamas Berhad. The panel featured distinguished speakers from across the ecosystem including Ms. Lee Chyi, Deputy General Manager and Head of Digital Innovation at the Securities Commission Malaysia; Ms. Lai Wei Ming, Senior Vice President at Khazanah Nasional Berhad; Mr. Colin Goh, Head of Trading at Halogen Capital; Mr. Michael Chang, Head of Investment at Eastspring Investments Berhad; and Ms. Yusniza Wan Yahya. The discussion delved into both opportunities and the practical challenges of tokenisation, reflecting Cagamas' proactive role in promoting forward-looking discussions shaping the future of Malaysia's capital markets.
